Chris Wood is a successful Entrepreneur and Digital Marketing Specialist. Trading as Pennine SEO, I work with a close-knit team of other digital marketing experts to deliver excellent service to all our clients.
I started my digital marketing career during my uni years after deciding to commit my focus to the marketing side of my Hospitality Degree.
The skills I learned at uni plus the endless hours I devoted to being "self-taught" were first put to practical use when we launched a family Fish and Chips business in 2008. The branding, SEO, social media campaigns (and great tasting fish and chips) all helped contribute to the success and by 2014 we had 4 takeaways and a town centre restaurant.
Ever since then, Digital Marketing has always been my passion which I've taken with me in to my preceding "life stages" which included starting my own internet-based estate agency in Tenerife, Business Developer for the most popular online Tourist Guide in Tenerife, Property Valuer and Lister for Connells Group then as a Data Manager/Marketing Manager for a Telecommunications Surveying company.
Throughout the past 20 years, I have always offered my services and consulted for various other businesses while keeping up to date with the latest technology and knowledge in the web design and SEO fields.
After having settled down in Penistone with my young family and building a solid base of clients and a healthy sales funnel, the decision was made to fully dedicate myself to Pennine SEO and to grow my business.

Having being involved in so many start up businesses and re branding over the past 20 years, I have learned to recognise that there are no shortcuts to be taken and Honesty is always the best policy!
I maintain 100% transparency with my clients right from the start of our business relationship. I don't guarantee anything that is out of my control, I just believe in spending the time to understand your business and your audience, formulating a solid plan, taking a holistic approach (more on that below), and putting in the hard work and applying my extensive knowledge to ensure all my clients get the best Return On Investment possible.
Flexibility is key, too. Some clients want me to handle everything, some want me to work with other specialists, some want to be trained on how to manage their own digital marketing. I'm open to all approaches and budgets.

Thanks to my varied career and life experiences, I’ve had the privilege of working across multiple industries in diverse roles, learning new languages, and meeting a wide range of incredible people.
This has put me in a great position to do what I do now - the diversity has taught me how to recognise the needs of different people, given me great contacts across the world and given me valuable insights into different industries that help me tremendously in what I do now.
We have or are still working with clients primarily in the Estate Agency industry in the UK, Spain and America and also in the hospitality, telecommunications, trade, eCommerce, charity and education industries.
I must say, the industry I'm most passionate about is the property industry. Due to my experience selling property in Spain and my role as Valuer and Lister in the UK for Connells Group, this is the industry I understand the most and I'm most confident I can deliver great results for my estate agency clients.
